Applicant Qualifications
A Minimum Prior Training of EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or O.E.C (Outdoor Emergency Care).
*Other Medical Training will be considered or Accepted (M.D., Paramedic, Nurse, etc.)
**Special Class Patroller In Training Requirements = WFA, First Responder, etc.
Have adequate MOUNTAIN Bike Riding skills (Off-Road).
Applicant Requirements
Applicants MUST be APPROVED by the WBP Board, After Applicant submits a WBP APPLICATION Form.
Assist at a Minimum of FIVE WBP Scheduled Events.
(Most Seasons, WBP participates in 30+ Events) - Plenty to choose from.
**IF…... you cannot Commit to assisting in the Minimum Event Requirement - Please do not Apply to join the TEAM.
RESPOND to ALL Email EVENT Notifications if you WILL Be There to assist (Respond the week of the Event) - THAT Allows us to prepare for the Event
After Board Approval, Applicant MUST take the (30min) WBP Orientation Class
When Assisting at Events, Patrollers MUST 'Wear the Gear' (PATROL Jersey & Medical Pack, along with basic Mechanical tools kit)
Be able to talk comfortably with people. Have a positive, friendly attitude and demeanor.
Have a Willingness and Desire to Help people, AND your TEAM.
Responsibilities
Help anyone in need of Medical Attention.
Assist anyone with Mechanical difficulties.
Have knowledge of Emergency Bike Repair (Flat Tire, Chain and Derailleur breaks).

After approval of applicant by WBP board and after you complete your orientation, all new patrollers must purchase a “WBP” jersey for $50.00
